Help a short-staffed jail clinic pass its five-year state inspection clean.

I started at this county jail clinic part-time. When their primary person went out on medical leave, I was asked to step in temporarily and cover both the nursing and the operations side of the clinic while they were away.
It happened to line up with the clinic’s five-year state inspection. I worked alongside the nurse manager on the administrative side, helping the clinic get up to speed. We went through the compliance and regulatory requirements, the medications, the pharmacy, and the day-to-day processes, and made sure everything was up to par.
When the inspection came, we had only minor issues and passed really well.
Results
